CREODEX REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

At Creodex (“we,” “our,” or “us”), we aim to provide a fair, transparent, and secure payment system for all users—Dexers (users of AI Tools, sometimes referred to as “WaaS AI Tools”) and Creovaters (creators of AI Tools/WaaS AI Tools). This policy outlines our approach to refunds, dispute resolution, chargeback handling, cancellations, and fraud prevention.

By using Creodex, you agree to this policy and all related terms outlined in our Terms and Conditions and all Related Policies & Resources.

1. General Refund Policy (Dexers)

Unused wallet credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase, provided they meet all the following criteria:

  • Unused wallet credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase.
  • Creodex Processing Fee (5% + $0.30 per transaction) is non-refundable.
  • Refunds are rounded down to two decimal places.
  • Partially used credits are not eligible for refund.
  • A $1.00 Administrative Fee is deducted from all refunds.

1.1 Result Satisfaction & Prompt Usage Policy

Each AI Tool (WaaS AI Tool) on Creodex is built by a Creovater—an expert turning lived experience into actionable knowledge. WaaS AI Tool responses are dynamic and may vary based on:

  • The tool’s intended scope and content.
  • How you phrase or structure your prompts.
  • The context provided during interaction.

Because of this:

  • Refunds are not provided based on dissatisfaction with AI Tool answers, tone, or performance.
  • Each WaaS AI Tool includes a clear “How It Works” section and FAQs to guide expectations.
  • Prompt phrasing significantly influences output quality; thoughtful input leads to better results.

If you believe a WaaS AI Tool is misrepresented or malfunctioning, please refer to Section 12 below to contact us so we can investigate.

2. Rounding & Minimum Refund Threshold

Creodex rounds all refunds down to the nearest cent (two decimal places). If the remaining refund after applying the $1.00 Admin Fee is less than $0.01, no refund will be issued.

Refund Threshold Examples:

  • $12.987532 (Remaining Credit) - $1.00 (Admin Fee) = $11.98 (Refund Issued)
  • $5.009999 (Remaining Credit) - $1.00 (Admin Fee) = $4.00 (Refund Issued)
  • $1.25 (Remaining Credit) - $1.00 (Admin Fee) = $0.25 (Refund Issued)
  • $0.95 (Remaining Credit) - $1.00 (Admin Fee) = Refund Denied

3. Refund Request Process

Dexers may request a refund by:

  • Request via your account dashboard or contact form.
  • Refunds are processed in 7–14 business days.
  • Returned to original payment method. Bank timelines may vary.

4. Fraudulent or Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe your account was accessed or used without your permission:

  • Please submit a detailed report through our contact form.
  • Include any relevant documentation (e.g., a fraud report, bank notification, or supporting evidence).

We will investigate the claim.

  • If credits remain unused, a refund may be possible.
  • If credits have already been used, we’re unable to issue a refund. In such cases, you may need to contact your bank or card provider for further assistance.

5. Dexer Disputes & Chargebacks

If a Dexer disputes a transaction, Creodex will review the charge and usage history:

  • If the charge is valid: No refund will be issued.
  • If the charge is invalid: A refund may be provided in the form of Creodex wallet credits.
  • Dispute fees may be passed on to Creovaters.

If the Dexer bypasses this process and files a chargeback:

  • Stripe will apply a non-refundable dispute fee.
  • If the chargeback is upheld, this fee may be deducted from the Creovater’s earnings.
  • Dispute fees may be passed on to Creovaters.

Creodex will contest all invalid disputes.
To help minimize chargebacks, Creovaters are expected to:

  • Clearly communicate AI Tool pricing, features, and functionality.
  • Deliver accurate and results-oriented responses.
  • Encourage Dexers to contact Creodex support before initiating formal disputes.

6. Creovater Refund Policy (Earnings & Subscriptions)

6.1 Earnings:

Creovaters cannot request refunds for their wallet earnings, as they reflect verified AI Tool usage.

Creodex may deduct or reverse payments only when:

  • A Dexer chargeback is upheld after payout.
  • Platform terms are violated.

6.2 Subscriptions:

  • Creovater package subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe.
  • The Creodex Processing Fee (5% + $0.30 per transaction) is non-refundable, even if a subscription is canceled.
  • No refunds for partially used or expired subscription terms.

7. Creovater Disputes & Chargebacks (Subscription Charges))

If you believe a Creovater Package was charged in error:

  • Contact us within 7 days for billing disputes.
  • If confirmed as a billing error, a full refund may be issued.

If you file a chargeback through your bank without contacting support:

  • Creodex will challenge the dispute.
  • Stripe’s non-refundable dispute fee applies.
  • Repeated chargebacks may result in account suspension or termination.

8. Cancellations

There are two types of cancellations on Creodex:

8.1 Subscription or Package Changes

You may cancel your subscription or downgrade your Creovater Package at any time via your Creodex dashboard.

  • Cancellation only stops future billing.
  • No refunds are issued for the current billing cycle (monthly or annual).
  • Your account and content remain active until the end of the current billing term.

8.2 Full Platform Account Removal

To permanently delete your account and cancel all billing:

  • You must submit the request through Creodex
  • Do not cancel directly through Stripe—Stripe may not notify us, and your account could remain active. We need you to cancel via Creodex for full deletion.
  • Upon request, Creodex will notify Stripe and provide you with the necessary documents for your records

9. Abuse & Fraud Monitoring

Creodex actively monitors accounts for refund fraud, chargeback abuse, and payment manipulation.

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or restrict accounts submitting repeated “unauthorized payment” claims
  • Investigate accounts using multiple credit cards followed by chargebacks
  • Reverse AI Tool access if it's determined that usage occurred without proper credit purchase

If abuse is confirmed, Creodex may:

  • Permanently ban the account
  • Reclaim improperly used credits
  • Report suspected fraud to relevant financial institutions

10. Exceptions (Case-by-Case)

Creodex reserves the right to issue refunds outside these rules in exceptional circumstances such as:

  • Platform-wide outages or verified technical failures
  • Compliance with local laws or regional consumer protection mandates

11. Policy Updates

Creodex may update this policy at any time. Major changes will be communicated via email or in-app notices. Continued platform use confirms acceptance of the most recent version.
